This big fellow got confused with our freezing-to-spring temperature swings. He was moving in slow motion, hiding his head beneath a leaf and thinking the rest of him was hidden.
I moved him someplace safe so predators (like my husband who believes in the ‘no good snakes’ theory) couldn’t get him.
I know what kind of snake this is. Do you? Take a guess.
Talk about romantic! My hubby knows me well.
Some people get cut flowers. Others get candy. But I got something so much better! I got a freezer full of meat. Hurrah!
A beef salesmen drove near my DH’s job selling sealed meet in a box (like Omaha steaks but a different brand) and hubby knew it would be the perfect gift for me.
I’ve already tried the filet mignon. Yum. Yes, meat is the perfect Valentine’s Day gift.
I asked for a snow day today and my boss said no. :{ I’ve got to get my pages written and since I don’t even have to change out of my warm, fuzzy p.j. or leave the house, there’s not excuse.
I have the meanest boss.
And yes, for those of you who know, that boss is me. But I know this for a fact:
If I don’t write it, they can’t buy it.
