After the Storm

We were lucky in north Louisiana. Personally, my husband and I were lucky, too. We lost lights for about a day. No biggie. The power company was working, even in the worst of the wind, trying to get our lights back on.
It's okay, guys. We can live through a night without lights. Don't risk injury for me. I can live without air conditioning a lot better than your family can live without you. These guys go above and beyond so you can live in comfort regardless of natural forces. Spoiled food in the refrigerator, a sweaty night of sleep, and a few missed TV shows will all fade from our memories.
Losing an arm or leg or life will be reminders that will never fade. So, for all of you griping about your lights--quit it! Say a pray for safety, instead.
